Mixer star Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins shut down YouTuber Corinna Kopf as the dispute between the world’s most famous gamer and Brett ‘Dakotaz‘ Hoffman is taking off well into the holiday festivities.
After a series of back-and-forths between Dakotaz and Ninja sparked a flurry of retorts around the state of Epic Games’ battle royale Fortnite, more and more influencers have been chiming in with every new entry in the ongoing feud.
A day before Christmas, it seems like audiences are going to have a helpful serving of drama especially after Tyler ‘Tfue’ Tenney’s girlfriend Kopf hit out at Ninja for a “troll” that she thinks isn’t in tune to his December 20 address.
what happened to keeping it positive in your whole speech? i guess petty doesn’t fall into that category huh? https://t.co/e1uT8HyL9W

Kopf hit back at Ninja, saying that his screenshot showing he was blocked from viewing Dakotaz tweet with a caption of “Merry Christmas” was “petty” for the Fortnite streamer to post.
“What happened to keeping it positive in your whole speech?” she said. “I guess petty doesn’t fall into that category, huh?”
In his video, Ninja stressed the importance of influencers giving positive constructive criticism when giving their opinions on an aspect of a game they don’t like.

Many see the video as directly inspired by Dakotaz’s December 19 message calling the battle royale “hot garbage”; in the 2-minute clip Ninja took a stand against the online vitriol that routinely crops up around trending titles.

This is where Kopf and Ninja disagree, as the Mixer streamer cast aside Kopf’s criticism since his message was “not really pertaining to trolling people who I thought were friends on Twitter.”
Shortly after, the Instagram influencer played down Ninja’s claim that she was trying to insult him, instead noting that he should “spread [positivity] in all aspects” to keep with his message.

In light of that, Ninja said he felt “a little hurt and taken back” by Dakotaz “handling” of the situation, so he didn’t see his tweet as negative. Kopf maintained her position.
“We know you were being petty and that’s okay, just some constructive criticism for you!” she said.
