In his latest video, YouTube star Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg explained why lip fillers look awful, while also hitting out at other beauty trends such as plastic surgery.
As PewDiePie gears up to take his short break from YouTube in 2020, he has been reacting to various content, and during his January 10 upload, he aimed his sights at the beauty world.
The Swede was reading the “Everything is Awful” subreddit, and couldn’t stop laughing when a submission about lip fillers led him to explain why he thinks the trend looks bad.
PewDiePie says lip fillers look “stupid”
The YouTuber was in the middle of browsing “awful” things on Reddit when he came upon a submission about a botched lip filler job titled “Influencer whose lip fillers look like a tiny mouth within her larger mouth.”
This caused him to break into laughter before he turned towards the camera to give a rant about the beauty trend. “Ladies, you look stupid. Alright? You may amongst your little girly friend group think that looks good, because your other girly friends have it.”
“But you look dumb. You look very dumb. You look extremely stupid. No guy actually likes the way you looks, just so we’re clear,” he continued.

While empathetic towards those who seem addicted to plastic surgery, the YouTuber also called out doctors who enable it. “Who is the mother f**ker who did the surgery, right? It takes two to tango, who did this, huh? Someone really wanted that $76,000 paycheck, huh. Jesus Christ!” he said.
This isn’t the first time the Swede has commented on plastic surgery – during his January 11 upload, he reacted to a documentary of an obsessed BTS fan who was using it to make himself look Korean.
“The thing with plastic surgery, yeah, I understand you have some part of you that you maybe want to change. But you look like plastic surgery. It’s not a natural look. I don’t understand how that is helping anyone,” he explained during the segment.
PewDiePie opened up his latest video joking about his break from making content this year. “I need you to prepare for when I’m finally going on a break, to understand how other things are bad too,” he exclaimed.
