YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has finally reacted to his unprecedented achievement of surpassing 100 million subscribers.
Since starting his channel back in 2011, PewDiePie has quite simply been a phenomenon on YouTube. He has set trends for games to play, been getting celebrities involved with collaboration videos, and even going head-to-head with a country-backed channel in T-Series for a chance at hitting the top spot.
He ultimately lost that over year-long war with T-Series, but it didn’t stop him from pushing on to become the first solo YouTube channel with 100 million subscribers. He passed that mark on August 25, receiving a ton of praise from fellow creators in the process.
After a few days of silence, in part thanks to being on his honeymoon, PewDiePie finally spoke out about his accomplishment – thanking fans for their efforts in the process.
Pewds tweeted: “We did it! What an unreal achievement! 100,000,000 thanks to all of you for the endless support and effort! I don’t feel worthy, but I’m forever grateful,” with a love heart, brofist, and 100 emojis all attached.

PewDiePie to host Minecraft celebration stream
While fans may be waiting for a bigger celebration, perhaps in the form of a video, the Swede had already promised a 12-hour long Minecraft stream if the target was hit by August 31.
He is going to pay up on that promise, but it’ll have to wait until he gets back from his honeymoon. “12h Livestream and the fattest brofist, as soon as I’m back from honeymoon,” he added, following up on his initial tweet.

Just when that will be, however, is unknown as the YouTuber has not revealed any details about his break. He finally married long-time partner Marzia Bisognin on August 19, but even that was kept in secrecy until after the union had happened.
Either way, with such a big milestone being knocked down, Pewds’ will undoubtedly ramp up the quality content for his fans – they’ll just have to sit back and enjoy the show.
