Hollywood star, action hero, and beloved celebrity Keanu Reeves made an appearance at E3 2019 to announce his role in the upcoming ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ video game – a development that YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg found “breathtaking.”
Keanu’s on-stage stint for the title provided a slew of meme-worthy moments, thanks to his appearance in the game’s trailer and an audience member heckling him on stage.
This wholesome heckling moment saw Keanu return the favor, calling the heckler (and the audience at large) “breathtaking” – an encounter that has since turned into a widespread meme, which PewDiePie rated 10/10.
PewDiePie discussed Keanu’s E3 presentation during an episode of his ‘Meme Review’ show on June 14, admitting that he harbors a deep love for Reeves’ films and noting that he has the “perfect response” to every question.
“Keanu Reeves’ demise will be his virtue,” Kjellberg jokingly said of the actor. “…the day Keanu Reeves gets outed for [being] a bad person is the day the world is over. ‘Cause I don’t want to live in it anymore.”
This episode of Meme Review might have teased a potential collaboration, as well; PewDiePie reacted to a meme that petitioned for Keanu’s appearance on the show, with the YouTube king appearing to heartily agree with the idea.

Keanu’s potential appearance on the show wouldn’t be the first time a celebrity has been a Meme Review host, by far; Tesla CEO and tech millionaire Elon Musk hosted the show in late February, in an attempt to thwart T-Series’ impending status as YouTube’s most subscribed channel.

Keanu wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance at E3, either; comedian and actor Jack Black likewise made an appearance at the event, as well as Elon Musk, who showcased a special game for Tesla cars using the vehicles’ steering wheels.
Reeves’ involvement with Cyberpunk 2077 marks yet another celebrity cameo in upcoming video games, with the likes of Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelesen showing up in Hideo Kojima’s mysterious Death Stranding title.
While Death Stranding is slated for a November 2019 release date, fans won’t get to see Cyberpunk 2077 – nor Keanu Reeves’ performance in the game – until April 16, 2020.
