YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is currently in a close race with Bollywood label T-Series for the most subscribers on the platform – but one fan may have turned the tides of war.
Indian YouTuber ‘Saiman’ went on a major advertising spree throughout the country, buying multiple billboards, creating flyers, and even wearing a T-shirt featuring PewDiePie’s face in an effort to persuade users to subscribe to his channel.
PewDiePie appeared to be in awe of Saiman’s efforts, tweeting out a video of his campaign with the simple caption, “Holy shit lol.”

The video in question marks a sharp turn from Saiman’s previous advertisement spree in T-Series’ favor, where he adamantly promoted the label in the face of YouTube’s biggest independent creator.
However, it seems that Saiman has had a change of heart, as he humorously referenced PewDiePie’s previous offer to ‘double’ whatever T-Series was allegedly paying him for his advertisements in the beginning of his video.

“Sorry, PewDiePie, for the last two videos,” he said. “…right now, I support PewDiePie wholeheartedly!”
This video follows PewDiePie’s apparent confusion between India and Bangladesh, which he made in his video calling for 69696969 subscribers. This earned him ample backlash, which he addressed in another meme review episode on November 13.
“I know it’s a country!” PewDiePie said through a laugh. “Come on.”
PewDiePie recently surpassed a whopping total of 70 million subscribers on November 10, and is still in the lead, despite T-Series’ constant surge of subscribers and projected victory in early 2019.
