YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg went live in a VR stream on December 29, during which he had a hilarious encounter with one of his fans.
PewDiePie put on his VR gear to jump into a session of ‘Pavlov VR,’ a virtual reality first-person shooter title similar to ‘Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.’
Pewds was in the midst of the game when he encountered one of his fans on the battlefield. Rather than adding them to his killstreak, he decided on a truce – or, so he claimed.
“You know what? Let’s just put down the guns and get along,” Pewds suggested, dropping his gun the floor. He kept his knife, however, holding it behind his back despite the fan’s suspicions.
“Alright – I trust you,” the fan conceded. “It’s all about trust.” They approached the YouTuber until the two were face to face, after which PewDiePie stuck him with the knife, seemingly bewildered at the outcome.

“How did that happen?” Pewds asked incredulously, before getting taken out by the respawned player with a well-timed gunshot.
This isn’t the first hilarious moment PewDiePie has experienced in ‘Pavlov VR,’ either; his initial stint with the game on November 29 saw a slew of humorous instances, including his confusion with equipping weapons. Pewds likewise met up with a fan during this session, who suffered an unfortunate shot to the head while thanking the YouTuber for his impact on the internet community.
PewDiePie is currently in a close battle against Bollywood Label T-Series to become the most-subscribed channel on YouTube, which has incited a massive wave of support from fans and celebrities across the globe.
