The Dolan Twins, known for their internet fame and massive YouTube following, are begging their fans not to meet up at the funeral of their late father, Sean Dolan.
The Twins published a series of Tweets urging their fanbase to stay away from the ceremony, after the hashtags “#seandolanfuneralparty” and “#SeanDolanMeetUpParty” surfaced across social media.
“If you are a fan of Grayson and I, we love you and appreciate you so much,” brother Ethan wrote in a post on January 22. “The best way you could support us during this tough time is to NOT show up at our father’s wake or funeral. Thank you guys and please please please respect my wish.”

This sentiment was echoed by Grayson Dolan, who stated that their father’s funeral is meant for close friends and family, alone.
“We want this ceremony to be an opportunity for the people who had a close connection with my Dad to say goodbye and pay their respects,” Grayson Tweeted. “…Please respect my father Sean, Ethan, my family, and me. Send your love through social media only!”

Fans of the YouTubers took to Twitter with the offending hashtags to organize a meetup at the funeral, after news of Sean Dolan’s death broke – with some even claiming to have driven 14 hours to attend the function.
However, other fans of the duo decried this plan, asking Twitter to suspend the accounts for using the hashtags.
@Twitter @TwitterUK @TwitterSupport delete these accounts! Its fucking disgusting the way they’re turning a funeral into a joke.Delete and Ban them for the sake of the grieving family!
