The line between gaming and celebrity culture is beginning to be blurred, and no greater example of this is rapper and songwriter, Post Malone.
The man behind the track Rockstar (over one billion listens on Spotify) is an avid gamer and has collaborated on a number of occasions with high profile Twitch streamers, including playing Call of Duty with former Call of Duty caster, Jack ‘Courage’ Dunlop.
The 23-year-old is regularly seen hanging around with professional players and YouTubers involved in the competitive gaming scene.
Post Malone, real name Austin Post, was cornered out in Los Angeles by a gossip website The Hollywood Fix after eating at Wahlburgers with owner and actor, Mark Wahlburg. He was asked a number of questions, but things got interesting when the subject of FaZe Clan and KSI vs Logan Paul was brought up.
When asked about whether he would be joining FaZe Clan, Post joked that he was better than all of them.
“See they’re good, but I’m better. I’m my own clan. […] I love Banks, he’s a nice guy. […] Like I said, YouTube’s a crazy fucking place right now. Listen, look out FaZe Clan, I’m coming for you, 360, double no scope, off the ladder, cross map on rust.”

On the subject of the KSI vs Logan Paul super-fight, it appears Post Malone will be one of the many celebrities in attendance.
Taking place on Saturday, August 25 in Manchester, England, the two YouTube superstars will battle it out in front of millions watching online, and thousands in the arena.
When asked about who he was backing, KSI has got the nod from Post Malone.
“Oh man. I think I’m going to go. Yeah I think I’m going to go. KSI looks tough, he’s undefeated. Logan and Jake came out like Conor McGregor, in the press conference. It was crazy. I’d go with KSI. He looks tough. He can probably beat my ass.”
