Popular streamer Jaryd ‘Summit1g‘ Lazar has called for Twitch to help him troll Dr Disrespect, with a cheeky dig on social media.
Summit almost single-handedly started the Sea of Thieves revival on the streaming platform of late, and now – with so many high profile figures from the streaming platform deciding to start playing the game – he’s started to fire some shots their way.
This time, the streamer has asked permission from Twitch to start running ads on the Doc’s channel to promote his own.
“Hey Twitch, I would like to run ads exclusively on Dr Disrespect’s channel advertising my own. What will that run me?” he tweeted, mentioning both of their official Twitter accounts.
While the comment was intended to be tongue-in-cheek, there’s a good chance that this request could spark a war of words between the two popular personalities.
Hey @Twitch I would like to run ads exclusively on @drdisrespect's channel advertising my own. What will that run me?

The initial lack of response from Dr Disrespect left people like TimTheTatman and others eagerly awaiting his reply.

It didn’t take long for the Doc to respond to summit’s request, although rather than insulting his height as expected, he instead promised there was more to come.
You son of a bitch.
This isn’t over Summit. https://t.co/yFhiZqz4rE

Dr Disrespect has been angered about some of Twitch’s adverts in the past, such as those promoting Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins’ New Year’s Eve event in Times Square, New York. On that occasion, he told Twitch: “Don’t do it ever again.”
As such, it wasn’t too surprising to see the Doc respond in the manner he did.
Given how the pair have interacted in PUBG over the last couple of years, we could certainly see some more highly entertaining battles soon enough.
