The first episode of Shane Dawson’s highly anticipated documentary on Jake Paul has been released, and it’s everything we hoped for and more.
Following successful insights into the life of personalities that include Tana Mongeau and Jeffree Star, fans of Shane Dawson lashed out when he revealed he’d be looking into Jake Paul.
As one of the most controversial names on YouTube, Jake Paul has garnered a poor reputation following his actions on the video sharing platform that have included accusations of assault, bullying, and reckless behavior.
Shane’s decision to document such a character was initially rejected by his fans because they expected it to paint Jake in a good light. However, a trailer later released showed that this certainly wasn’t going to be the case.

In the first episode, released on September 25, Shane explains why he wanted to do the show on such a polarizing figure.
“I am a fixer. Like, I’m way too nice, way too forgiving, way too loyal, and I don’t want to do this this time. I want, this time, to actually sit down in a room with him and be like you: this is what you did that was bad. I want you to tell me why you did it, be honest about it, and change your life and fucking stop.”
