American rapper Deandre Cortez ‘Soulja Boy’ Way has made a not-so-subtle return to the gaming industry – this time, releasing yet another console that looks to be a knock-off of the handheld PS Vita.

Despite the sudden disappearance of the rapper’s previous consoles in late December (due to possible legal action from Nintendo), Soulja Boy is once again pumping out the products, with his latest release suspiciously resemblant of Sony’s PS Vita.

However, the device’s specs aren’t exactly the same as its progenitor; in fact, the new ‘SouljaGame Handheld’ boasts a screen resolution of merely 480×272 (as investigated by DualShockers) – the same as the PlayStation Portable handheld console released in 2005.

The device is currently marked down at half price as of January 13, sitting at $99.00 (as opposed to a $200.00 price point). Additionally, Soulja Boy’s website advertises a larger console called the ‘Soulja Game,’ which comes with a set of controllers similar to those of the PlayStation 3.

While this product cannot be accessed through the site’s thumbnail, it could be on its way very soon – provided that Soulja Boy doesn’t get hit with another lawsuit from Sony in the interim.

The rapper was apparently met with legal action due to his earlier product line in December 2018, which included a series of knock-off, rom-hacked Nintendo consoles that could be purchased for half of his asking price on websites like Amazon and Aliexpress.

While Soulja Boy’s current gaming fare is quite limited, he continues to offer such devices as the ‘SouljaPad’ and the ‘SouljaPod’ earphones, among other products.
