T-Series, the Bollywood production company that managed to beat Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg to 100 million subscribers has managed to break yet another remarkable milestone – racking up over 125 million subs – though, nobody really noticed.
The subscriber war between T-Series and PewDiePie dominated YouTube from August 2018, all the way through to May 2019 as the Bollywood production channel managed to eclipse 100 million subs, with the Swede deciding to call an end to the race.
Though it had been fierce – with Pewds getting the support of his ever-loyal community and celebrities like Tesla’s Elon Musk, as well as Rick and Morty’s Justin Roiland – T-Series was able to take a victory lap first. The Swede has since surpassed 100 million himself, but the lead grows further each day as the Indian channel is zeroing in on its next major milestone.
While YouTube has gotten rid of its live subscriber tracker, websites like SocialBlade are still keeping up-to-date with the numbers when it becomes possible to view them.
Thanks to their most recent update, though, it has been revealed that T-Series surpassed the 125 million subscriber mark back in January and that they’ve been powering on ever since. Again, it’s the date on which they exactly managed to break that mark is unknown, but since January 30, they’ve reached 128 million subs.

On an average monthly basis, the channel is picking up a cool 1,000,000 extra subscribers, while their total views continue to soar as well – with a daily average of 124,668,025 views.
While the war with PewDiePie has been over for quite some time, the additional subscribers have allowed T-Series to fend off his growth despite the fact he is taking a break from YouTube.
The Swede has yet to reach 105 million subs on the platform, meaning that it would take a monumental effort to see him match T-Series. For the foreseeable future, though, they hold the bragging rights.
