FaZe Clan’s Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney and his duo partner KittyPlays took first place in the duos event at the Fortnite Korea Open on December 15, but his victory speech was arguably his biggest highlight.
As the winningest Fortnite player in terms of prize money, having taken 1st in the Fall Skirmish with FaZe teammate Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore, bringing his total winnings to over $450,000.
However, the Korea Open was a charity event, so with the pressure off, Tfue and KittyPlays were able to just enjoy the tournament – and play for a good cause, with a total of 1 billion Korean Won going to charity.
After comfortably taking top spot over the Korean duo of Sinooh and Ohking, winning with 178 points to their 169, Tfue and KittyPlays were presented with a trophy each and a large check.
During the trophy presentation, in front of thousands of Korean fans and thousands more watching online, Tfue was asked if he had a message for his new supporters.
Tfue kept it short, sweet and absolutely hilarious, as he reminded everyone to “use support-a-creator code KittyPlays and Tfue in the bottom right hand corner of the Fortnite item shop.” The translator kindly obliged in relaying the message.

Support-a-creator is a program which allows Fortnite fans to use a code dedicated to their favorite Fortnite YouTuber or streamer, for many of whom this will already be Tfue.
As likely the only player who can challenge Ninja in terms of popularity on Twitch, he is one of the fastest growing channels, all while balancing competitive play with FaZe Clan.
Thanks to his performance in Korea, he will have earned plenty of new supporters from across the world now too.
