Twitch streamer ‘Darius_IRL’ revealed his go-to tactic for messaging girls on Tinder when they don’t have much in their bio.
Tinder is widely considered one of the top dating applications due to its simplicity of swiping, matching and talking with other users.
Normally, people on the app fill out a short bio, detailing who they are and what they’re into, in addition to just uploading photos of themselves. However, talking to someone when their profile is scarce or even empty can prove to be a challenge.
That said, IRL streamer Darius has a technique that he’s used effectively, and it can easily be applied to your own Tinder game.
“Whenever you don’t know what to do… if you have a girl that just doesn’t have much in her bio or it’s just cringe or whatever, what you do is you look at their anthem,” he explained.
Anthem is a feature that links a song from Spotify to your bio to show off what kind of music you like. Normally, it can help as a good ice-breaker, but only if the song has some relevance to the person on the other end.

Darius thinks he’s found a way to get around that problem. “You see what their favorite song is,” the streamer continued before going to Google and searching “Reddit,” the artist, and song name.
“You go to the first link and then you just scroll down and look for a positive comment. And then you just copy and you paste (it in the conversation),” he said.
The trick should be able to generate some intrigue, but at the end of the day, it’s still taking a comment that isn’t yours.
That said, while Darius didn’t suggest modifying the comment, that alternative could prove to be useful – especially if one’s match decides to Google the opening message and discovers it was taken from Reddit.
If you ever match with a girl and don’t know what to say, this technique might be worth a try – although you never know where it will lead you.
