Prominent media personality Trisha Paytas took some major shots at fellow YouTuber Ethan ‘H3H3‘ Klein after he published a video essentially exposing her for editing her selfies.
It is no major secret that a lot of people who have large followings on social media will touch up the photographs of themselves to make them look as good as possible.
This, however, is not something that Klein is willing to let fly under the radar, as evidenced by a video he put out on May 8 titled ‘Instagram vs Reality,’ to show how far some go to make their photos look top notch for social media.
At several point in the video, he presented Instagram pictures of Trisha Paytas side-by-side with much more candid photos of her, all while making some harsh comments about them in his commentary.
“Will people even recognize her if they saw her on the street?” he said.”I mean, she is unrecognizable. This is Coachella versus throwing down in the McDonald’s parking lot at 3 AM. This is Coachella versus World Star Hip Hop.”

Trisha Paytas bashes H3H3 on Twitter
Shortly following Klein’s video going up, Paytas had a very aggressive reaction on Twitter, bashing the YouTuber via a long string of vicious tweets.
“Hey H3H3, you are a disgusting piece of shit,” she tweeted. “Your recent video is not only predatory, it’s also harmful to young girls.”
hey @h3h3productions – you are a disgusting piece of shit. your recent video is not only predatory – its also HARMFUL to young girls

In her 10+ tweets directed at Klein, she made it clear that she wanted the video to be taken down not because she was embarrassed by the candid pictures of her, but rather because of the heavily negative impact it may have on other females, bringing up her own experiences with suicidal thoughts in the past.

“Hey H3H3, I was suicidal at age 13, 15, 19, 22, and 25 over comments like yours,” she tweeted. “You went beyond opinions, you are going for extreme bullying that could lead to many girls wanting to take their lives like I did for so many years.”

She also posted her own video in response to Klein’s, in which she appeared without any makeup or filters on and made her case for why the video should be disabled.
H3H3 strikes back
In the face of Paytas’ very vehement reaction to his video, H3H3 hit back with something of his own on Twitter, sarcastically calling her a “rude person” that he didn’t recognize.
Who is this rude person? I don't recognize her from her profile picture. Anyone know? https://t.co/tI06H4qzMC

He also went on to post a picture that included two photographs of himself – one without any editing and one that made him look a lot younger and skinnier, captioning it “Reality vs Instagram.”
