YouTuber and Fortnite streamer TSM Hamlinz took part in the net’s viral eye-tracking challenge – but he quickly realized he’d made a huge mistake by including another internet star.
Eye-tracking technology has become a near-viral sensation across the net, with top personalities using the software to “expose” or challenge themselves while watching sensitive clips.
With names like YouTube star PewDiePie famously using the tech (which ultimately got him in trouble with streamer Alinity), it makes sense that TSM’s Hamlinz would also take part in the challenge – but his stint ended in a hilariously unexpected turn of events.
During his time with the eye-tracking technology, Hamlinz pulled up a clip of fellow streamer Pokimane, who was discussing the whereabouts of her missing underwear after moving.
While Hamlinz himself was engaged in her conversation, his chat immediately went into a frenzy, accusing him of using the clip for less-than-savory purposes.
“Boys, what the f***!” Hamlinz laughed before pausing the clip. “Okay Pokimane, it was nice talking to you – wait, who is this?”
In the interim, he’d scrubbed through the YouTube video he was watching to another clip that featured both Pokimane and OfflineTV’s Lilypichu, who he jokingly flirted with in the spirit of his “pogchamp” chat.
“Is that Lilypichu?” he continued. “Oh, sh**. Okay Lily, I see you mami. I need you to slide in my DM’s though, baby girl!”

While Hamlinz quickly backed out of the video for fear that his chat would implode, Pokimane wasn’t the only internet star against whom he tested his might: the streamer likewise watched a video from fitness model Sommer Ray, laughing all the while.
“This sh** is stressful!” he joked, before returning to his video about Pokimane and attempting to distract himself by watching her pet cat, rather than looking at the streamer, herself.
Funny enough, Pokimane also undertook an eye-tracker challenge in September, which led to an equally hilarious attempt at avoiding borderline ban-worthy clips – and even a moment where she broke down in awe of another streamer’s unique “abilities.”
There’s no doubt about it: eye-tracking tech can lead to some highly entertaining streams, even if they end up embarrassing the streamers using the software.
