Michael ‘Shroud‘ Grzesiek has been attracting a crazy amount of viewers during his Apex Legends Twitch broadcasts, so much so that he’s encouraging people to go watch some smaller streamers play the game.
The popular streamer checked his view count in between matches and was surprised to see over 125,000 people tuning in to watch him play Respawn’s new battle royale game.
“125,000 viewers? Listen, chat… let me do a solid here,” said Shroud as he pulled up the Twitch Apex Legends page. “There’s some legendary Apex Legends streamers. CouRage, great guy. Cloaksy.”
Deciding he didn’t need 125,000 viewers, Shroud continued to rattle off names of streamers who could use more eyes on them.
However, when Shroud came across somebody playing Fortnite, he wasn’t as kind. “He’s playing Fortnite, f**k him,” he said, while hovering his mouse over the name of NICKMERCS.

Most viewers stayed on Shroud’s channel, though, and he didn’t seem to mind them sticking around either way. “Look at all these streamers!” he added. “Spread. Go or stay, do whatever you want.”
He isn’t the only popular streamer that’s playing Apex Legends at the moment, though, as the likes of CouRageJD, Cloaksy, TSM_Viss, AnneMunition, Man0 and others have also moved onto the game after its shock February 4 release.
Shroud is a former professional CS:GO player who still has enough skill to be arguably the best aimer on Twitch. He gained a large following playing a variety of battle royale games, most recently Apex Legends.
Over 5.4 million people follow him on Twitch, making him one of the most popular streamers in the world.
