Popular English streamer ‘ItsSlikeR’ has finally been partnered by Twitch, despite being a dominant force on the website for some time now.
The Twitch Partnership Program is nothing particularly new, being used by the platform to reward and legitimize streamers’ efforts and dedication. Twitch partners – and their followers – gain access to a host of content, including subscriptions, emoticons and extra VOD features.
Despite sitting at upwards of 200,000 followers and 5 million views, a Twitch partnership has evaded SlikeR over his 5 or so years on the platform. However, this changed on February 29, as the 25-year-old was finally rewarded for his hard work.
The moment SlikeR was presented with the news – at PAX East – was caught on his live stream, leading to an awesome moment for the streamer and fans alike.
“We [Twitch] wanted to take a moment to congratulate you on your recent success as a Twitch affiliate,” he read. “We’ve had multiple conversations about your plans and how you have overcome a lot of difficult situations in life. With this card, I’d like to welcome you to the Twitch Partner Program.”
The news causes a commotion, as the streamer’s acquaintances cheer the news and congratulate the Brit.
A similar reaction followed on social media, with a host of internet personalities offering their praise and congratulations to SlikeR.
Streamer GrossGore dropped a brief video offering his compliments while simultaneously parodying the Brit’s distinctive accent and profanity.

Rajj Patel, another online content creator and friend of SlikeR, also offered his praise in a tweet: “Congratulations to the newest Twitch partner Sliker. He’s put in all the hard work and it’s finally paid off. So proud of the 0161.”

As the congratulations flooded in, SlikeR simply tweeted an image of his Twitch channel with the trademark blue tick by it, indicating a Twitch Partnership. The caption “Jheeez” said it all.

While currently at PAX East and so a long way from his normal streaming setup, we expect to see SlikeR return to the grind as soon as he returns back to the UK.

It’s always nice to see a content creator rewarded for their hard work, especially one who has dedicated as much time to streaming as SlikeR has over the past five years.
