Long time OpTic Gaming member Davis ‘Hitch’ Edwards has announced that his Team Summertime stream team are becoming full time content creators.
Hitch, along with teammates Blake Cissel and JorgeNotGeorge, will be focusing on creating Team Summertime content, while regularly livestreaming their gameplay on Twitch.
Edwards stated: “All three of us are officially professional content creators. The streams will be scheduled, the uploads will be daily.”
Team Summertime have been able to move into full time content creation thanks to Elgato, who are sponsoring the squad as they transition into their new careers.
In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Edwards explained that he has been playing Call of Duty with Blake and Jorge for years, even mentioning that Cissel was in the first ever CoD match he played, back on Modern Warfare 2.

Hitch spoke candidly about his excitement for his new job, saying: “My job now is to play games with my two best friends, and bring you guys along for the ride. We’ve seen each other at the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, and we just can’t wait to see what this opportunity brings.”
Team Summertime recently started hosting throwback Call of Duty tournaments in the build up to the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
The trio have already run two successful events, one on Call of Duty: Ghosts, and another on Black Ops 3. The group have also launched their new podcast titled ‘The Summercast’.
