After becoming the first player in the world to hit level 60 in WoW Classic, JokerdTV’s Twitch account grew so popular that by September 2, the streaming platform had made him a partner.
On August 30, just three days after WoW Classic servers went live, JokerdTV became the first person to hit the level 60 cap in the massively popular MMORPG.
After the streamer reached the major milestone, he gained an incredible amount of new followers, going from 1,000 to over 120,000 in a week. Soon after he went from being the biggest affiliate on Twitch to officially becoming a partner on September 2.
How did fans react to Jokerd reaching level 60?
After WoW Classic went live, streamers from all around the world raced to be the first one to hit the level cap. Twitch personalities doing 12-hour long streams were not out of the ordinary as they grinded their way to the top.
However, JokerdTV was the player to get there first on August 30, making him an instant legend in the WoW community and wildly popular on Twitch.
As soon as the Twitch streamer hit level 60 with his gnome mage, a massive celebration poured out into the streets, as players from all over the game’s server came to cheer him on, at one point even forming a parade for him.

JokerdTV tried to delete his character after hitting the level cap, but players wanted to protect his level 60 account, and spammed his mail inbox in game, which prevented him from deleting his gnome mage.
As his channel continues to grow, the streamer is fast becoming a big Twitch personality, which can be quite lucrative if the success of streamers such as Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel or Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek is anything to go by.
On September 2, the WoW icon opened his stream with a face reveal, and even did a collaboration broadcast with popular Twitch streamer ‘KandyLand’ as fans were finally introduced to the man behind the achievement.
At the time of writing, Jokerd has over 124k followers, which is a massive jump from the small amount he had before hitting his milestone.
Twitch’s partnership has given the streamer another reason to celebrate – maybe we’ll see another WoW parade in the near future.
