Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel flew into a fit of rage when a teammate in his League of Legends match went away from their keyboard. The Overwatch pro then explained why those that ‘AFK’ should be “banned.”
One of the most annoying aspects of playing online games is when a team member suddenly goes ‘Away From Keyboard’ and your entire match is thrown. It’s even more frustrating for team-based titles like CS:GO or DOTA 2.
Twitch star xQc felt this pain during his February 8th broadcast when a player during his competitive League of Legends stream quit playing. The Canadian launched into an explosive rant on why it should be a bannable offense.
xQc erupts over AFK players
The streamer was in the middle of playing League of Legends when he realized that one of his teammates was no longer active. Seething with anger, he then turned towards his chat and aired his frustrations.
“So is he going to come back? Or is he just AFK!? He just went AFK he’s just gone. I’m not kidding, I’ve always advocated for this. If you AFK in a game you should be banned for like a couple of days!” he raged.

The Overwatch pro went further and exclaimed that there is never an excuse for it. “I don’t give a f**k! You should never ever DC a game. It’s absolutely unreasonable to DC from a game. There is no excuse. Zero. Lost power? F**k you! Your fault!” he yelled.
He then reiterated his point saying “F**k it one day ban!” When challenged by some viewers in chat on his stance, he defended his views, stating, “it’s a competitive game, man. You don’t f**k around, man!. You want to f**k around? Play casuals, b**ch!”

As xQc’s match continued to fall apart due to the absent player, his frustrations began to boil over. “It’s so f**king tilting!” he screamed. “That’s 60 minutes for every team member here. That’s 5 hours combined of lost human time!”
The pro then went off on a viewer in his chat who was arguing with him over being this upset. “That’s why you should be banned for a full day. I don’t give a f**k dude! So f**king annoying!” A poorly timed donation then caused him to snap further. “Dude, shut the f**k up. I don’t give a f**k!”
Regardless of whether you agree with the Canadian personality or not, MOBA’s suffer from players who AFK due to their long play sessions, and not being able to easily quit.
Despite his frustrations, xQc is one of the top streamers on Twitch with over two million followers. He also consistently pulls in thousands of viewers a broadcast, making him one of the most watched channels on the platform.
