YouTube personality Alfredo ‘Prettyboyfredo’ Villa was detained by police after he decided to show up at a school and gift a bullied kid some new shoes.
Prettyboyfredo is a popular YouTuber with over 6.38 million subscribers on his main channel. He became popular through NBA gameplay videos, but has also dabbled in challenges, pranks, and vlogs.
On February 17, the online star revealed that he’d visited a high school at an attempt to gift a bullied boy a new pair of shoes – Nike MAGs, to be exact – but the attempt fell flat as he ended up being escorted off the premises by police.

In a series of videos shared to Instagram, the YouTuber was shown being handcuffed by police and escorted out of the school to many cheers and shouts from students who were stunned by what was taking place.
His removal from the premises was because he hadn’t let anyone know beforehand that he was planning on dropping by, so his surprise visit was classed as trespassing by security.
Fredo had tried to enter the school to gift a pair of Nike MAGs to a kid named Jay who was being bullied by his peers. The shoes are highly coveted because they’re a replica of the ones worn in Back to the Future Part II, and cost anywhere from $30,000 to $70,000 – though he scored them for $15,000.

According to Complex, Fredo mentors Jay, who had been bullied over his size and clothes, so he wanted to do something nice for him to make him feel better. “As a kid, I grew up in very tough circumstances, from being in foster care to being bullied myself. So I know what it feels like to practically have nothing,” he said. “I could relate to his pain from my past experience, and I knew giving him something special like the Mags would give him the confidence to push forward and through the bullying.”
Thankfully, the YouTuber was able to finally gift the sneakers to the boy, as detailed in another Instagram upload. “It broke my heart to know how bad he was suffering from depression and how he didn’t even want to go to school anymore because of the bullying,” the caption read.
He finished off by detailing how he hoped the gift would give Jay a confidence boost. “I hope that this gives you the confidence you need in order to push through! You a real one Jay! And I can’t wait to see you blossom from this.”

MAGs got a limited release back in 2011 with only 1,500 available worldwide, and again in 2016 where only 89 were made – though they were self-lacing that time.
Since the shoes are so rare, it’s clear just how lucky Jay is to have a mentor who would gift him such a luxury and coveted item just in the hopes that it’d put a smile on his face.
