Popular YouTuber and makeup guru James Charles has weighed in on the battle between PewDiePie and Bollywood label T-Series, and is even offering to help – should PewDiePie agree to some terms and conditions, first.
PewDiePie uploaded a video on January 26, where he poked fun at Charles’ signature “sister” catchphrase.
“I realize now, I’ve been tapping out half the market,” Pewds said, jokingly noting that he calls his own fanbase ‘bros.’ “I’ve only appealed to one gender. How discriminatory of me! Everyone, go tell James Charles that bros invite sisters to subscribe to PewDiePie.”
Charles has since responded to PewDiePie’s request – but he’s presenting the YouTube king with a challenge before he fully accepts.
“Hey PewDiePie, after watching your new video today, I’ve consulted with the sisters,” Charles wrote in a Tweet. “They’ve agreed to subscribe – but only after a collab with you being in full glam, so you can DM me when you need help winning 😉”

While PewDiePie has yet to make an official response to Charles’ request, he did retweet his post shortly thereafter, hinting at a possible collab between the two major YouTubers.
PewDiePie’s battle with T-Series has seen involvement from a slew of internet celebs, including the likes of Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach, Justin Roberts, and even Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson, who sent Pewd’s subscriber count soaring after creating a city-wide ad campaign in October of 2018.
PewDiePie is now a little under 300,000 subs ahead of T-Series as of January 26 – leading some fans to wonder if he might accept James’ challenge sooner rather than later.
