Red Bull has confirmed it has launched an investigation into allegations of ‘inappropriate behaviour’ made against their F1 team principal Christian Horner.
Fifty-year-old Horner, who has been in his current role at Red Bull since 2005, strongly denies the allegations against him.
Horner said: “I completely deny these claims.”
Red Bull confirms investigation
A spokesperson for Red Bull confirmed the opening of an investigation into Horner.
“After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation,” the statement said.

“This process, which is already underway, is being carried out by an external specialist barrister.
“The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practically possible. It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time.”
Sky Sports reports that Horner is expected to remain in his role while the investigation is carried out.
