Ninja, Mr Beast & G2 Esports start $500k bidding war for Fall Guys skin

[jwplayer g3AYlLvE]With Fall Guys taking the internet by storm and many custom skins being created by all sorts of artists, the game has decided to put all the desire for branded skins to good use: by starting an insane bidding war between YouTube star Mr Beast, G2 Esports and more.

Aimlab and Ninja have once again raised the stakes and are now the current highest bidders at a whopping $500,000.

Currently the competition is set to end on Monday, August 31, 2020, so there’s still a little bit of time for more bids. Given how interesting this war has been so far, it wouldn’t be shocking if it goes right down to the wire.

Update August 22 at 8:30 AM PST

Popular YouTubers FGTeeV, who have over 16.3 million subscribers for their family gaming videos, have now taken the throne from TUSHY with their first bid.

“If Mr Beast doesn’t want to go in with at $700k total. I’ll do $422,222.22, Fall Guys,” they posted, after offering to partner up with their fellow YouTuber.

The YouTube family bid a staggering amount of $422,222.22, however, there is still another week to go, leaving plenty of time for more bids.

Update August 19 at 2:30 PM PST

TUSHY, a brand for environmentally friendly products has overtaken Ninja and Aimlab by a massive new bid of $0.69 more than the previous highest.

“Don’t count us out. We see that $420,069…and raise 69 cents. $420,069.69 and a Peach Guy,” the account tweeted.

Given the low number, it’s likely that Ninja and Aimlab or even Mr Beast reenter the bidding war. There’s still plenty of time remaining.

Ninja and Aimlab have joined forces to take on Mr Beast in the Fall Guys skin bidding war. The new bid is a whopping and amusing $420,069. Even more crazy is the fact that there are still 12 days of bidding left, so this may not be the end of the bids.

“I’ve decided there is no way I’ll be able to beat Mr Beast without some help,” Ninja tweeted. “Aimlab with our powers combined and a bid at $420,069.”

The new skin, should Ninja and Aimlab win, combines the streaming star with the Aimlab logo. While Mr Beast is aware of the new bid, there’s no telling how he will respond. The ball is back in his court.

Mr Beast is back on top, bidding a whopping $300,000 to surpass AimLab who had bid an amusing $210,069 to overcome the former top bidder in Ninja.

The YouTuber had previously said he was going to wait until next week to bid again, but decided to just go ahead and raise the amount by nearly $90,000.

So far no one has rebid, but given how fast and furious things have become, there’s no telling how high people would be willing to go in order to get their very own Fall Guys skin.

The G2 army won’t go down without a fight! G2 Esports have already outdone Ninja by raising the mark a tad further.

The number to beat now is $203,003 but its not expected to stand for long, as brands and content creators are jumping into the fray.

In the midst of the Fall Guys bidding wars between brands, the world’s most popular gamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins upped the ante to $200,000 to charity.

This outpaces both Mr Beast and G2 Esports who were prepared to drop stacks to the cause for their customized jelly bean.

Many artists have been designing Fall Guys skins, including large brands and even fellow game companies such as Konami who tweeted out images Metal Gear’s Solid Snake as a Fall Guys character.

Now, the game is trying to make it a reality. “The thirst from brands has been unreal… so we’re turning it into something positive!” the account wrote.

In order for a custom skin to be created, users were asked to tweet the highest amount they’d be willing to donate to Special Effect – a charity designed to help gamers with physical disabilities.

One of the first big bids came from Twitch star Trainwrecks with $25,000 who wanted an “APE skin with my Silverback Gorilla brand on the shirt.”

Fighting Game Rivals of Aether offered $10,000 if Fall Guys would put their character Ranno in the game.

However, Mr Beast made an offer that blew all the others away: $100,000. While the YouTuber didn’t elaborate on the skin he had in mind, opting to DM the account instead, his bid didn’t last.

Minecraft hosting service BisectHosting offered “$120,000 to get a blocky themed costume in Fall Guys!” In their bid, they tagged Microsoft and Mojang for approval and asked the companies to help back them in if they lost.

G2 Esports followed this up with a huge $130,003 bid to get a Samurai skin added to the game.

While G2 has the lead for now, Mr Beast says he will be striking back with another bid in next week.

There’s no telling just how high the Fall Guys bids will go, and with well over a week remaining in the auction, we could be seeing a lot of money go to charity, and all for a good cause too.
