Team of the Season, commonly known as TOTS, is a yearly event within the FIFA Ultimate Team game mode. During this promotion individual squads focusing on specific leagues and regions are released, featuring blue FUT cards with significant upgrades. Check out this year’s FIFA 19 TOTS predictions for each league, along with our predicted release dates below.
FIFA TOTS players are chosen by EA SPORTS based on their performances over the course of each football season. Each squad will become available in Ultimate Team packs for one week, making way for a new squad the moment the previous one expires. Although, historically multiple squads have been released at the same time, so it is possible that we could see this again.
FIFA Team of the Season cards released into packs are tradable on the FUT transfer market and are often some of the most valuable items in the game. However, we also expect the release of SBCs (Squad Building Challenges) and Weekly Objectives. TOTS cards released via these two methods will not be tradable. We will aim to provide SBC solutions for some of these players.
Unlike various other FUT promotional items, Team of the Season cards are not live or dynamic, meaning that their ratings are permanently fixed and will not change. Ultimate Team items such as Road to the Final (RTTF), Headliners and Ones to Watch (OTW) cards will not change based on the release of any TOTS items. These players will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
