EA SPORTS have revealed the six contenders for Bundesliga Player of the Month (January), including some of the league’s top talents, with the winner of the fan vote receiving a brand new POTM Ultimate Team card.
The process for this is simple. EA selects the players who have had the most exciting month of football and fans get to cast their own vote to pick who they think is worthy of an upgraded card. The winner is then granted one and players can get them in-game.
Germany’s Bundesliga has a number of top talents playing right throughout the division, including Borussia Dortmund’s January signing and super substitute Erling Haaland.
The 19-year-old has only just walked in the door, but after hitting the back of the net eight times in four appearances (a goal every 22 minutes) since sealing a move to BVB, he’s already been linked with big money moves away. As expected, he features on EA’s list for January POTM.
He’s not alone on the list for January, however, and is joined by Robert Lewandowski, Jadon Sancho and a handful of others. All nominees can be found below, courtesy of EA SPORTS FIFA.

Timo Werner, who was voted POTM for both December and November previously, isn’t on track to make it three out of three after being confirmed as absent from the list. It’s refreshing to see new options available, though, nevertheless.
