Players have been doing everything they can to play FIFA 20 before its release, testing the demo version and clamoring for the EA Access trial to go live, but if you’re scouting out potential starter Ultimate Teams then the Ligue 1 could be a great place to start.
The top French division is the home for some of the best players around Europe and has been for many years due to the resurgence of Paris Saint Germain, who splashed out around $250 million to bring Brazilian forward Neymar Jr to the club in August 2017 and are always looking to match the quality of football’s elite.
However, it’s not only PSG players who dominate the top-rated player standings in the Ligue 1. In fact, there are a wide variety of high rated options, in terms of overall, who could be perfect additions to any player’s Ultimate Team squads – or even serve as solid Career Mode signings.

In comparison to the top ratings of other major football leagues, including the Premier League, Serie A and even La Liga, there’s no doubt that the average overall in the Ligue 1 is a little lower – particularly in midfield.
