When does the FIFA 23 World Cup mode start?
EA have now revealed that FIFA 23 World Cup mode arrives on November 9, 2022, less than two weeks before Qatar 2022 gets underway.
Is there a FIFA 23 World Cup FUT mode?
According to well-known FIFA leaker FUT Sheriff, FIFA 23 won’t feature a standalone Ultimate Team World Cup mode. Instead, fans will be able to play through the tournament as licensed teams in a separate mode, while FUT will receive World Cup-themed content such as new cards and promos.
In the past, EA have released a World Cup Ultimate Team mode where players could build another squad from scratch with all the players competing for their nations. However, this sadly won’t be the case in FIFA 23, and all Qatar 2022 FUT content will be part of the normal Ultimate Team experience.
