A beloved McDonald’s customer celebrated their 100th birthday at the chain, after loyally eating there every single day.
West Virginia resident Zan White, a former WW2 vet has had a favorite breakfast spot for 36 years – McDonald’s.
Zan and his buddies have been loyally visiting the chain each day to catch up over breakfast, and have even given their friendship group a name, the ROMEO club (Retired Old Men Eating Out). Zan has spent his entire life in Elkins, where the local McDonald’s chain resides, and loves nothing more than hanging out there.
When staff at the McDonald’s chain caught on that he was about to turn 100, they decided it was time for a celebration.
They created a birthday bash for the vet, complete with decorations, and even a birthday message from the governor.

The McDonald’s supervisor commented on Zan’s presence in the restaurant, stating: “I’ve seen Zan every morning pretty much for the 24 years I’ve been working; it’s a joy to see him every morning, it’s one of the highlights of my day.”
When asked what the secret was to his longevity, Zen said playfully, “It’s definitely coming to McDonald’s every morning and having McDonald’s coffee.”
He also vowed to continue visiting his local McDonald’s, stating “I’ve been coming here for 36 years… I can’t stop now.”
Another man went viral, after he showed footage of an abandoned McDonald’s from the 90s, and the low prices really got people talking.
