Take your fast food dining experience to the next level with this McDonald’s that’s in a log cabin complete with chandeliers and a games room.
It may seem unlikely that the words ‘McDonald’s‘ and ‘beautiful’ can go beside each other, but the Wisconsin Dells store proves that theory wrong.
This McDonald’s is located at the sight of an old theme park that was modeled around Frontierland at Disneyland. The theme park has since disappeared, but the owners of this McDonald’s decided to keep a themed restaurant.
Popular food blogger Tommy Winkler, who is known as ‘The Food Guy’ visited this store and made a TikTok video that has since garnered over 300,000 views.
Winkler shows the interior of the McDonald’s, which has all the usual amenities like ordering screens, tables, and two kitchens because the branch gets so busy in the summer.
However, what makes this place stand out are the wood-carved bears, chandeliers made of antlers, moose heads, and everything else you’d expect to find in a hunting lodge.
On top of that, this McDonald’s even has a games room stacked full of old arcade games for that proper nostalgic McDonald’s experience.

McDonald’s even commented on Winkler’s post, saying, “The welcome bear is our favorite.”
This isn’t the first time that this unique McDonald’s has been in the spotlight, though. Architectural Digest did a feature on the most beautiful Mcdonald’s branches in the world, including a pink one in Portugal, and this scenic log cabin made the cut.
The owners of this McDonald’s, who own 65 branches across the state, told a Wisconsin news outlet: “It’s an icon, it’s a one-off of the standard McDonald’s. If it’s fitting and approved by McDonald’s, they allow you to do it.”
As far as the food and the menu go, this is just a standard McDonald’s. However, Winkler did invent a new breakfast item during his trip there by placing a sausage patty, egg, and cheese between two hash browns to make something he called The Egg McHash.
If wacky fast food joints are your thing, there’s also a range of Chick-fil-A dwarf houses, and a Cheez-Its retro diner.
