A woman took to TikTok to share some bizarre comments people had made about her weight, and she decided to address them head on. People weighed in on the whole situation.
Ashley, a well established food TikToker, often shares her hacks where she eats at popular chains such as Panda Express and Olive Garden, opting for children’s menu items.
However, as she can only be seen ordering portions designed for children, many people began questioning what Ashley ate during the day.
“I eat kids meals every day and rate them and review them to tell adults how to save money by ordering off of the kids’ menu,” she explains.
“I often get asked what else I eat since I am eating that every day, especially since I am overweight and fat, so surely that’s not all I eat,” she says sarcastically, addressing the comments she receives.
“I start my day with the largest iced latte possible, whole milk, so I keep my weight up,” she says humorously, before going on to say that she pairs this with a Dunkin’ Wake-Up Wrap or a Sam’s Club chocolate muffin. Ashley skips lunch, then has a children’s menu item for dinner.
TikTok weigh in on woman only ordering kid’s meals
After the video was posted on the platform, many had questions for her: “I always thought you couldn’t order a kids meal without a child. Are they not strict?” one asked surrounding the regulations at Panda Express.

It seems so, as several credited Ashley, telling her that they now did the same when they visited the restaurant: “Do you really skip lunch? I could never! But thanks to you I now get Panda kids meals!”
“As someone who is small and has major anxiety, I’m going to start eating kids’ meals. It’s cheap and will fill me up. Thank you for showing us what you eat,” another wrote.
Another user sympathised with Ashley, as she’d also been fat shamed: “It baffles people that we can be fat without eating non stop. I eat one meal a day and I am fat and people don’t get it.”
“You can’t tell me it’s only fat people that order large lattes. Or eat dessert,” Ashley replied, followed by a laughing emoji.
Another TikToker went viral in October, when they revealed how users can get cheap meals on every visit to McDonald’s.
