Brighton fans are finding it hard to blame their star forward Julio Enciso for playing video games while his team are getting thrashed by Luton Town.
The Seagulls are still flying high in seventh place in the Premier League but are in a dire run of form as they approach run of just three wins in the last 16 Premier League matches.
It would take a miracle for Roberto De Zerbi’s side to turn things around at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday night as they are currently 4-0 down.
The Hatters raced in a two goal lead after just two minutes and 17 seconds and were four up by the 56th minute thanks to a Elijah Adebayo hat-trick. Chiedozie Ogbene grabbed the other.
Julio Enciso streams on Twitch instead
Instead of watching – or listening given it isn’t televised – his team struggle, Enciso is enjoying a session of EAFC 24 and streaming it live on his Twitch channel.

The Paraguayan playmaker has played just twice this season as he’s been out of action since August with a knee injury. He remains unavailable and couldn’t have played against Luton.
Though some comments on the stream itself did question why Enciso was playing while his side took a battering, many fans on X understood.
“I don’t blame him,” one said while another added: “Thanks for the heads up, I may join him.”
Those thoughts were echoed by another supporter, who wrote: “Fairs I might jump on too.” Another asked: “What do you expect an injured player to do?”
