Liverpool fans haven’t been able to get enough of Dominik Szoboszlai this season – and it looks like the man himself might have the same high opinion of himself.
Midfielder Szoboszlai joined the Reds from RB Leipzig in the summer and has been a revelation for Jurgen Klopp’s side, featuring in all but two of their Premier League matches so far this campaign.
Eagle-eyed Liverpool fans noticed on social media the day after that loss at the Emirates that Szoboszlai appears to have acquired a new tattoo after a picture emerged online of him with (presumably) his tattoo artist.
An interesting ornament
A new tattoo on an already heavily tattooed man is fairly unremarkable, but there was another detail in the picture that caught the attention of fans.
And that detail was the sight of a human-sized cardboard cutout of Szoboszlai himself in the corner of the room.
One Twitter user wrote: “Why does Szoboszlai have a cardboard cutout of himself,” while another wrote: “where does one buy this cardboard cutout of dominik szoboszlai? asking for a friend.”

Prior to the defeat by Arsenal, Klopp explained that Szoboszlai’s hamstring problem, which kept him out of the match, will be subject to a further assessment this week.
“Dom felt in the same area, or pretty much a similar area, to where he was injured before,” Klopp said.
“Not in the game, he was fine, and then after the game [he felt it] slightly so we had a look at it and there was now no chance for him to be involved in this game.
“We cannot take any risk. We have to wait for further assessment but it was clear that he cannot be involved today. That’s it, pretty much.”
