Rasmus Hojlund has scored for the fourth consecutive match to give Manchester United to inspire his side to a 3-0 win over European rivals West Ham United.
Hojlund, who is celebrating his 21st birthday today, latched on to Casemiro’s pass, worked the ball on to his right foot and fired beyond the despairing arm of Hammers goalkeeper Alphonse Areola to give his side a1-0 lead.
It was Hojlund’s 10th goal of the season in all competitions, and the summer signing from Atalanta’s fourth in successive Premier League matches.
But, despite his exploits in front of goal, it was the the Danish international’s goal celebration at Old Trafford that has got Red Devils fans talking.
Hojlund’s brilliant goal celebration
As he wheeled away to celebrate his goal in front of the United supporters. Hojlund held up his left leg and imitated playing a guitar to his adoring crowd.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Hojlund explained the meaning behind his new celebration, as he said: “I have spoken about doing a celebration for my friends and they told me to do a guitar in the summer. I hadn’t done it yet but today that celebration was there.”
