A host of football legends are set to star in an over-35s World Cup tournament in England this summer.
The tournament will reportedly be comprised of eight teams – each of the eight nations to have won the World Cup – and will take place over one week at the beginning of June.
Brazil have won the World Cup a record five times and the Mail says they will be joined at the event by four-time winners Italy and Germany, three-time winners Argentina, two-time winners France and Argentina, plus England and Spain, who have each been crowned world champions once.
Which players are in line to take part?
Only players who were capped by their country at senior level or made over 100 top-flight appearances will be eligible to take part in the tournament.
The tournament is being arranged by the Elite Players Group (EPG), which is a group made up of former footballers and businessmen, and talks are reportedly under way with a host of northern Premier League clubs over a host venue for the matches, which will be 70 minutes in length.

The team captains have reportedly already been pencilled in, with Steve McManaman set to don the armband for England, and Esteban Cambiasso (Argentina), Emerson (Brazil), Christian Karembeu (France), Kevin Kuranyi (Germany), Marco Materazzi (Italy), Michel Salgado (Spain) and Diego Lugano (Uruguay) set to lead out their countries.
Previous Ballon d’Or winners Ronaldinho, Kaka, Rivaldo, Michael Owen and Fabio Cannavaro are all said to be in line to take part, while other big names include Thierry Henry, Hernan Crespo and Rio Ferdinand.
The tournament, which will officially be named the EPG Cup, will see the quarter-finals take place across June 4 and 5, the semi-finals on June 8 and the final on June 11.
