A new Suppressed Assault Rifle, that looks a great deal like a silenced version of the Scar, has appeared under the “coming soon” section of Fortnite’s daily news feed!
A number of leaks after the August 23 Fortnite update suggested that such an addition could be on the way, but nothing else was heard until today.
The Suppressed Assault Rifle looks like a silenced version of the scar and has a description of “silenced weapon that rewards precision aiming”.
If the Suppressed Assault Rifle is indeed a silenced version of the Scar, it seems likely that it will only be available in Epic and Legendary variants.

This is also supported by the information currently available on Storm Shield One, which shows the Suppressed Assault Rifle in purple and gold rarity and base damage of 32/33.

Interestingly, the Storm Shield One image of the Suppressed Assault Rifle is still the placeholder one that that database has been using since the original leak, so there’s a good chance that the final files are not currently available for them to data mine.
If that is indeed the case, you can almost guarantee that the Suppressed Assault Rifle will be released in the next Fortnite patch which will be a content update. This update is expected to be released on Tuesday, September 11, but may be pushed back after last week’s delays.
