A new bug with The Baller allows Fortnite players to become invisible and exit the vehicle with only a small line showing their position.
Since its introduction in the v8.10 patch update, The Baller has been one of the more controversial and annoying additions to Fortnite Battle Royale – especially when used in late game situations.
The vehicle has received a number of nerfs since its release – including a reduction in the vehicle’s spawn rate. However, it might need to go back into the Epic Games’ garage for another tune-up as it is causing a brand new glitch in-game.
In a post to the FortniteBR subreddit, user GucciMyFeet showcased a clip from one of their recent games where an enemy player hid behind a tree while sat in a Baller. Intrigued by the discovery, the Redditor pushed onto the Baller before being left confused as it rolled around with nobody at the wheel.
However, GucciMyFeet got a shock when a metallic-like stick exited the vehicle and begun bouncing around in-front. Of course, it didn’t take long for them to realize that it was an invisible player who had fallen foul to some sort of glitch.
Now, since the Reddit user posted their clip, nobody is quite sure what caused the invisibility error, so it might be pretty difficult to replicate and find a fix for.

That’s not to say that being able to rectify a bizarre bug like this is impossible, as Epic Games have proven that they can dig up small errors and make amends.
Issues like this, centered around The Baller, are not all that uncommon either. Back in Season 8, some players found that it could take them to new heights or even help them avoid taking damage from the storm.

Others even discovered that you could exit the vehicle and die instantly from fall damage – even if you were on level ground. These bugs, of course, were fixed pretty quickly but a patch might have to wait this time around.
The Epic Games’ team are on their summer break until July 8 and probably get around to sorting out a fix until they’re settled back down.
It remains to be seen if the glitch is more widespread than just GucciMyFeet’s match or if it was just a bizarre one-off occurrence.
