Fortnite Battle Royale players have been tasked with finding different Ice Boxes across the Chapter 2 map in order to complete the latest Winterfest challenge.
Ice Boxes were added to the free-to-play title as part of the bumper 11.30 update back on December 12, where a number of frosty features were introduced – including huge snow balls, the Shiver Inn landmark and more.
Knowing where to find these machines is going to be useful not only for the Winterfest challenges, but it’s also worth noting that they gift players free loot just by interacting with them. Like Vending Machines of seasons gone by, it’s always good to stumble across these.
In order to complete the Day 13 Winterfest challenge, players are going to need to search through at least two of the Ice Boxes that are scattered around the map. There are only five across the whole island, so not knowing where to start would quite likely lead to hours and hours of searching.
Don’t fret, though, because we’ve created a map that signposts each of the Ice Boxes that can be searched. All you have to do is visit the marked locations, scout out the box, interact with it and once that’s been done twice… Job done.

As the map shows, the two closest Ice Boxes are found at Sweaty Sands and near Holly Hedges, meaning that these landing spots could be an ideal starting point.
Knocking two boxes out in one match would be ideal, but definitely be aware that there are probably thousands of other Fortnite players looking for the same thing as you – and they’re most likely armed.
The reward that you will receive for completing the challenge is a brand new Polar Renegade Spray, as seen below.
