If you look through Twitter and YouTube you’ll see a lot of streamers and creators having fun with the new vehicle. What it doesn’t have in strength it certainly makes up for in mobility.
The overall reaction to Fortnite v8.10 has been mostly positive.With this being the first major update of the new Season we expect to see many Fortnite players weigh in on the update.
Apex Legends, the first true competitor to Fortnite, is launching its first season later this month so Fortnite will need to be on its toes if it hopes to ward off any competition.

I agree. I love epic when they are adding fun unique items like the last two. I dont like epic when its new explosives/boombox or another smg being added.

Today’s @FortniteGame update is EH-MAZING.
From the new animations when drinking shields, to the fun physics of the new Baller vehicle—everything is spot on.
And the content just keeps coming and coming. Last week we had Treasure Maps. Epic is on a roll.

Not all of the reactions have been positive so far, however, as the update also brought unexpected issues with ping that Epic Games has been working on fixing throughout the day.
Long queue times and high ping.. sigh. Hopefully fixed soon

So my ping has doubled in Fortnite and I am at a pretty consistent 10-20% download packet loss for the first 5 minutes of each game. :X

Outside of the ping issues, Fortnite has released a pretty solid patch and fans are surely hoping they keep the ball rolling into the new update.
