Jack ‘CouRageJD’ Dunlop sat in disbelief as his Heavy Shotgun dealt 7 damage in the closing stages of a Fortnite match.
To make matters even worse, CouRageJD was counting on the final blow to prevent fall damage, but instead Murphy’s Law took full effect and he eliminated himself for the loss.
The play started off favoring the popular Fortnite streamer as he had a high ground advantage and a decent tower, facing off against an opponent who was simply ducking near a shed.
It went even better for CouRageJD when he pulled off the 9,000 IQ play to launch himself to a second tower without being seen by the enemy.
Unfortunately, it was all downhill after that.

The Heavy Shotgun in Fortnite underwent a significant change in July. The gun was buffed to have a more consistent spread, but the amount of pellets it fired changed from 5 to 10.
Overall damage stayed the same per shot, meaning the increased pellets do less damage individually. CouRage experienced that first hand, appearing to only land a single pellet.
