CouRageJD shows off the power of Fortnite’s new Shadow Stones

OpTic Gaming streamer Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop has shown off the power of the latest addition to Fortnite Battle Royale, Shadow Stones.

CouRage and 100 Thieves streamer NoahJ456 were playing a game together when they both found Shadow Stones. Having consumed the new item and entered Shadow Form, the duo followed a pair of enemies into the new bunker underneath Wailing Woods, hoping to eliminate their opponent.

CouRage demonstrated the crazy power of the Shadow Stones, making himself invisible as his opponent walked past, before phasing through the wall with Noah to take out his unfortunate adversary, who had absolutely no idea what was coming.

The Shadow Stones are a new consumable item found on the map that when used allows players to enter into what is known as ‘Shadow Form’.

Shadow Form makes players invisible to opponents when standing still, but does make them much more visible when moving as players leave a trail behind them as they move. Players are unable to use weapons while in Shadow Form, but can use a new ability called Phase that propels you through objects in the direction you are facing, allowing you to sneak behind opponents who won’t know you’re there.

The Shadow Stones are one of the major new additions to Fortnite in Season 6. Players can now have pets follow them around, while the new Season 6 Battle Pass has plenty of unlockables to earn.
