CS:GO pro s1mple outlines two Fortnite Battle Royale features that infuriate him

The Ukranian is widely considered as one of the best Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players in the world, and has started to play Fortnite Battle Royale as part of his popular Twitch streams.

S1mple has been playing the game for less than the week, but some of the game’s mechanics, or lack thereof, are starting to frustrate the Na’Vi AWPer.

S1mple has started playing Fortnite Battle Royale during his Twitch streams.

While playing with professional Fortnite Battle Royale competitor Erikas ‘ErycTriceps’ Vaitkevicius, s1mple was disappointed to hear that he couldn’t change his reticle, and aired his grievances about how the game’s chance loot system means players can get an advantage early on.

“In the beginning, the one who’s got the biggest shield is winning, if you know how to shoot,” the Ukranian said. “Of course we can build, but we have no [wood] in the beginning.”

S1mple is also unimpressed with the game’s lack of customizable crosshairs. Upon finding out that everyone is forced to use the same one, he said: “That’s so bad”. 

For the Na’Vi star, the fact that the settings are locked in Fortnite Battle Royale is a far cry from Counter-Strike where players can adjust and change tiny details like screen resolutions.

While CS:GO is the NaVi member’s game of choice, he has proved that his incredible skill transfers from one game to the other, even managing to secure a few wins in his first day on the battle royale title.

He still has a lot to learn though, as shown in a hilarious moment when S1mple jumped off a Slipstream without realizing that he needed Glider Redeploy to land safely. 

While teammate ErycTriceps floated with ease, the Ukranian slammed into the ground and needed his giggling teammate to revive him.

With NaVi not currently scheduled to take part in any upcoming tournaments in June, S1mple will have plenty of time to practice on Fortnite Battle Royale before he has to turn his attention back to CS:GO.
