Over the past several months, Fortnite: Battler Royale has gained incredible popularity to become one of most successful video games in recent memory.
This has led to Fortnite transcending beyond the video gaming world and becoming a fixture in popular culture, music, and sports.
One trend that has become popular of late is the use of the Fortnite dance emotes by athletes in celebration at sporting events.
Among some of the well-known athletes to do this are Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster after scoring touchdowns, and Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann after scoring goals.
Another high profile celebrity athlete has been added to this list as Dele Alli, a midfielder and star soccer player for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and England’s National Football Team.
Tottenham were facing Watford FC in an English Premier League soccer match on Aprl 30th, during which Alli scored a goal. He proceeded to celebrate this triumph with a perfect rendition of the ‘Jubliation’ emote from Fortnite.
