Epic Games have rolled out yet another update to the infamous Mounted Turret item in Fortnite.
According to a tweet put out on November 16, the availability of the Mounted Turret has been reduced, meaning that players will come across the item at a less frequent rate than before.
This nerf has been applied to the default modes, which are Solo, Duos, and Squads, which leaves the item unaffected in the Playground and other Limited Time Modes.
According to the tweet, this change was made as a result of player feedback, as Epic continue to demonstrate the value that they place on what the community has to say.

This is the second major change that the developers have made to the new item in as many days; a massive hotfix was rolled out for it on November 15 that significantly nerfed the health of its floor and overall structure.
The item continues to receive mainly negative feedback from many within the player-base, with videos of its flaws popping up all over the internet.
The introduction of the Turret, coupled with the removal of the Glider Re-Deploy feature, has even led to some calling the recent v6.30 update in Fortnite the worst in recent months.
While the future of the item is not yet clear, its fate could already be sealed and players may even see it vaulted from default modes as early as next week’s update.
