Fortnite’s Halloween event, Fortnitemares, is coming to an end much earlier than originally anticipated and it’s bringing a new in-game event along with it.
In-game events are nothing new to Fortnite, as fans were able to watch a massive rocket take off from the map back in June or watch the infamous cube fall into Loot Lake in September.
Anyone hoping for a new event is in luck as Epic Games announced a new in-game event coming on November 4.
“Login early and be in-match to witness the one-time event which starts at 1pm ET/ 6pm UTC.” Epic Games announced on Twitter.

Given that much of the mystery surrounding the last few months of Fortnite have dealt with everyone’s favorite cube, named Kevin by the community, this event will almost certainly center around the cube.

After moving around for the entirety of Season 6, the cube is now projecting a laser beam into the sky, which is connected to the Cube Monsters being summoned all over the map.
Given how game-changing the rocket event was, this will certainly not be an event you want to miss.
That wasn’t all that Epic Games announced, however, as they also gave an end date and time for the Fortnitemares event.
Fortnitemares will end just as the huge in-game event is set to kick off, meaning players have until November 4 at 1 PM ET to collect all their rewards.
