Rapper and producer Travis Scott is set to receive his very own skin in Fortnite, following leaked game files which included his name, and now a leaker may have revealed a first glimpse at what the skin will look like in-game.

After rocketing to mainstream success with his 2018 album Astroworld, Scott was known to be a Fortnite fan, as he dropped into the battle royale island alongside Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and fellow rapper Drake.

Fortnite has come a long way since that stream two years ago, with countless skins and cosmetics added to the game, including one for Ninja himself. Now it looks like Travis Scott might be next up.

The prospect of a Travis Scott skin was first leaked back in February, just after the Season 2 update went live.

Suddenly, a new Cosmetic Set with the rapper’s name appeared in the game files, but there were no assets to go with it, meaning we had no idea what the skin itself would look like.

But, on March 17, reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX shared an image of what is potentially the Travis Scott skin in full.

However, HYPEX does say that he cannot 100% confirm that it is real, and is still trying to tie down the exact source.

Some fans joked that the skin looks a lot like CJ from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, while others questioned if it was real at all.

As with any leaks, it’s important to remember that they’re not always accurate, so we won’t know for sure what the Travis Scott skin looks like until it’s official.

And that’s if Epic Games makes it official at all, as they’ve been known to scrap ideas in the past if they don’t work. We’d expect though that there is some kind of collaboration with the rapper and the game, for them to even spend time on it at all.

It’s also interesting that Nike shoes are worn by the character, perhaps hinting at another crossover with the legendary brand after their successful Jordan collaboration back in May 2019.
