Fortnite artist D3NNI has designed a brilliant concept skin for professional Fortnite player Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney, as Epic Games’ Icon Series lifts off.
The Fortnite Icon Series is the latest innovation from Epic Games, designed to heighten engagement with Fortnite personalities. As arguably the biggest and most successful Fortnite streamer, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins was the first content creator to receive his own skin.
Epic Games have already confirmed that more Icon skins are on the way, but it is not entirely clear which creators will or won’t receive them.
Tfue is one of the biggest Fortnite streamers in the world, but not has always behaved in a way to win favor with its developers. He is not afraid to vocalize his criticisms, something he and Ninja have clashed over in the past.
While voicing criticism for Fortnite is not something that will definitely stop Tfue receiving an Icon skin, it can certainly strain relations with developers. Some players have suggested that Ninja does not voice his opinions for fear of missing out on collaborations.
Despite the fact that we may not see an official Icon skin for Tfue, Fortnite artist D3NNI shared his take on a Tfue skin perfectly. Complete with blonde hair and headset, he even hilariously includes one of Tenney’s catchphrases at the bottom.

One said: “Oh my gosh, that’s so dope! [It] looks just like him”. Another echoed: “Denni I literally told you, your renders are amazing recently and you just have to go and prove me right”.
Tfue himself hasn’t reacted the skin concept yet though. He did acknowledge Ninja’s skin, joking that he actually had one first as the ‘Jonesy’ default skin looks just like him. He also trolled the announcement by suggesting fans use his creator code when buying Ninja’s skin.

We’ll have to wait and see whether Tfue gets a skin in-game, but D3NNI’s tweet has certainly proved there’s an appetite for one.
