One of the latest weapons added to Chapter 5 Season 2 in Fortnite has a “sick” feature that the majority of players seem to love.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 may have had a rocky start at launch, with the game reaching a whopping 19 hours of downtime, along with some pretty rough queue times within the first few hours.
However, now that the new season is finally here, players can rejoice as they’re able to jump into the game and experience all the new exciting Greek Mythology-inspired skins, weapons, POIs, and so much more.
Now, thanks to the all-new Thunderbolt of Zeus mythic, fights on the island seem more intense, as players can now leap briefly into the air and literally zap their enemies with lightning.
Aside from its arguably cool factor, however, it turns out there’s a small detail that players seem to love about this weapon. Apparently, when you look close enough, you’ll be able to see your enemy turn into a skeleton when they’re hit with lightning.
This discovery was shared in an X post, and so far, the majority of players seem to love this feature. One person wrote: “That’s so sick” while other players claimed that this is “cool” and “funny.”

“Help. Epic really went into full detail this season,” praised one user.
“This is why I love Fortnite so many funny details,” another chimed in.
Ultimately, the comments led to some players wondering whether or not this is the case when it comes to certain “unique” skins that are non-human.
“Now I need to know if skins like Ripley have no bones, Tsuki has a chassis instead, Xenomorph has an elongated skull, and so on. In all seriousness though, I seriously doubt it, as that would be quite a lot of effort,” one of them wrote.
Fortunately, Fortnite has a replay feature players can use to watch past matches in the game. So, that’s one way to check if this detail is present in other skins.
