Even though Fortnite Season 6 has just been released to the world, we already have some leaks about what might be added to the game during the course of the season, including the possibility of wild dinosaurs and velociraptors roaming around the map.
Season 6 of Fortnite Chapter 2 is finally here after months of anticipation and fans are diving into the Primal-themed season. Everything included in this season has some sort of “wild” theme, whether it be the animal bone-style weapons or the tomb raiding Lara Croft.
While fans still haven’t had enough time to find everything Season 6 has to offer, we already know that roaming dinosaurs could be coming to The Island in the near future thanks to new information from prominent Fortnite leakers.
We could possibly see Raptors getting added in the future als wildlife.

Dinosaurs could be coming to Fortnite
The first leak comes from dataminer FortTory on Twitter, who revealed that there are strings referencing Raptors. Specifically, the lines included are “A wild Raptor eliminated {PlayerName}” and “A wild Raptor knocked out {PlayerName}”, which is pretty specific to say the least.
It’s also been shared that these Raptors will appear in the Forest, and will be hostile when they spot players just like Wolves and Boars. Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey has also tweeted that the Raptors will be tameable, so players can use them as allies.
The Raptor WILL be tamable.

While it’s always important to take leaks and rumors with a grain of salt, this would line up perfectly with the rest of the season. Animals have already been introduced to the game in the form of Wolves and Boars, and dinosaurs have already been hinted at with one of the characters in the Battle Pass.
Tarana’s items and outfits, which are unlocked between Tiers 23 and 37 of the Season 6 Battle Pass, are all dinosaur-themed in one way or another. Her Tier 37 outfit even appears to feature a Raptor skull on her head.

Egg teasers on the Fortnite Island?
While the leaks referencing dinos from both FortTory and iFireMonkey are pretty strong pieces of evidence that they will be coming to the battle royale title, Epic Games has now gotten in on the fun as well.
In their Season 6 tips article that was released on March 22, Epic Games made reference to eggs on the island and stated that “don’t want to touch that one yet”. They also said that players “should stay away too” while referring to eggs.
Then, on March 23, players saw just what Epic was referring to when the eggs on the map cracked open slightly and players reportedly started hearing heartbeats when going near them. Beyond that, however, the eggs currently do nothing but they probably won’t remain that way for long.

Given how quickly the situation is changing with the eggs, players will probably know more about them in the very near future.
Is Fortnite getting a Jurassic World crossover?
With the theme of Season 6 being Primal, the Battle Pass featuring a dinosaur-themed Tarana outfit, and now leaks about Raptors roaming The Island, many players have speculated that a Jurassic World crossover could be in the works.
When the jungle-themed POI Stealthy Stronghold appeared in Season 5, it was originally believed by some to be a Jurassic Park location. It turned out it was actually created for Predator, but there’s no reason it can’t now be used for dinosaurs in Season 6.

Only time will tell when the Raptors will be added, and whether they’ll be part of a Jurassic World crossover. Hopefully, it won’t be too long.
